What is World Wellbeing Week?
World Wellbeing Week is an awareness initiative about wellbeing in workplaces and communities. WellBeing World’s own news archive records its role in creating the event in Jersey. Its material provides historical context; it should not be mistaken for an announcement of the 2027 programme.
A World Wellbeing Week resource site currently describes 24–30 June 2026. That confirms what the resource page says about 2026, but does not independently establish the dates, official theme or programme for 2027. Check the campaign owner before making bookings or publishing a dated new-year campaign.
World Wellbeing Week’s 2027 dates are not yet confirmed by an organiser announcement checked for this guide. The 24–30 June 2027 dates currently shown in this calendar should be treated as provisional, rather than as a verified new edition.
Planning a useful wellbeing activity
Organisations can use an awareness week as a prompt to listen to people and act on practical concerns. A calendar entry is a starting point for planning; the activity should respond to the people taking part.
- Ask what would help. Gather feedback about working arrangements, access to support and barriers to participation.
- Choose a manageable action. Identify who will make it happen and when progress will be reviewed, rather than promising a long list of one-off activities.
- Offer a choice of formats. Consider different locations, working patterns and access needs. Personal health disclosures should remain voluntary.
- Check specialist information. If discussing physical or mental health, use appropriately qualified contributors and reliable services.
What should a campaign announcement include?
State the confirmed dates, who is organising your activity, who it is for and where participants can find accessibility and support information. Clearly distinguish your own local programme from an official campaign theme. Continue useful changes beyond the awareness period and explain how participants can give feedback.
Sources and date status checked on 23 October 2026. A primary announcement for 2027 remains outstanding.
